This tournament will be in Decipher Standard format. Each tournament will run 6 weeks. They will each consist of 3 rounds. Each round will be 2 weeks long. Decks will not be able to be changed between rounds, but will be between tournaments. Games should also be played either in private rooms or on AIM to prevent deck scouting. Also game transcripts would be appreciated. There is no limit on deck size or construction, other than the Standard format rules. I know this might discourage some from playing because of the notion that some are "invincible." For this reason, I am planning on setting up two brackets of players- one for the lower rated players and one for the higher rated player- that is, if we get enough to participate in each bracket. Games should be reported to me with the date, players' names, and scores, along with any outstanding circumstances, such as Q's Planet out on table or deck exhaustion, etc. After each tournament I will enter the scores into the HoF- so yes, these will count for HoF. Once pairings are made using the randomizer for the first round, I will post them on this site. Afterwards they'll be updated each round. If for some reason, two people do not play a game in the time alotted, and extension will be granted for valid reasons. However, if it is seen that no attempt has been made to schedule the game, both parties will recieve a score of 0(0). Mind you that this is because the games are on a schedule, and the next round can't really be started until all players have completed the previous round. To sign up for a tournament, just send me an email with your Kedanya ID, email address, and Hall of Fame name and I'll add you to next tournament's pairings. The next tournament will begin sometime in Janurary. If any other problems arise, just email me and ask. Any rules questions can be resolved by the usual means: asking in
the lounge, posting on the DBBS Gameplay Board, or using the randomizer. ;) Thanks for taking the time to check into this and
I hope you're interested.
